Academic English - Level 3
Navitas English's Academic English courses are designed to prepare students for further study at university or college in Australia.
Academic English - Level 3 is designed to prepare students for tertiary studies or a relevant qualification for employment purposes.
The minimum entry level is 5.5 IELTS and on successful completion there are over 50 direct entry pathway options for students.
The key modules are:
- Integrated Academic Skills
- Advanced Spoken Texts for Academic Study
- Advanced Written Texts for Academic Study
- Locate and use relevant online information
- Send and retrieve information using web browsers and email
Academic English - Level 3 Fact File
Course duration: 10 weeks
Maximum class size: 18 students
Hours per week: 20 hours face-to-face teaching, plus 5 hours supervised self-access
Minimum age: 16 years old
Locations: Navitas English centres in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Darwin, Singapore
Minimum entry requirements:
- IELTS 5.5, writing 5.5 (academic), other skills 5.0
- TOEFL PBT 525 (writing minimum TWE 5.0)
- iBT 71 (writing 17-18) or sucessful completion of Academic English - Level 2, or Navitas English entry test
- PTE 42 (writing minimum 42, other skills 36)
